Funding: This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 871072 Badger* is a software designed to easily access several optimizers (simplex, RCDS**, bayesian optimization, etc.) to solve a given multidimensional minimization/maximization task. The Badger software is very flexible and easy to adapt to different facilities. In the framework of the EURIZON European project Badger was used for the EBS and PETRAIII storage rings interfacing with the Tango and TINE control system. Among other tests, the optimisations of Touschek lifetime was performed and compared with the results obtained with existing tools during machine dedicated times. * Z.
