AB  - The Fast Orbit Feedback (FOFB) system plays a critical role on the beam orbit stability in the storage ring of the High Energy Photon Source (HEPS), which is a fourth-generation diffraction-limited synchrotron radiation source, under construction in Beijing at present. Based on the latest development of FOFB systems, this paper addresses the design and implementation of the hardware and software, including the design of the dual-loop link, the architecture of sub-station hardware, the data transmission and feedback logic, and so on. The total latency is minimized to achieve an overall closed-loop bandwidth of 500Hz.
